In 1968, as Language Coordinator for the Western Visayas Region of the U.S. Peace Corps, David Zorc worked with Aklanon informant Beato A. de la Cruz to produce the first systematic grammar of the Aklanon dialect — later followed by a comparative dictionary. This site continues that work: presenting his original publications, the revisions since made to them, and the resources that have grown out of them.
